More than 55 years of excellence in language teaching
The Modern Language Center was founded in 1970 by the late Professor Yousef Awad in Jabal Al-Luwaibdeh, Amman, with one conviction: languages build bridges between people and cultures. Under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education, it was one of the first institutions in Jordan to specialise in teaching English, German, Turkish, Japanese, French and other living languages.
Over five decades the center has trained thousands of students, employees and professionals, and became a home for foreign students learning Arabic. It was awarded the Education Medal by the late King Hussein, and since 2016 its University Services Office helps students secure admissions and scholarships abroad.
